Since this album was finished, the band Slang of Ages sadly broke up. Luckily, Matthew (who now goes by the name Matthew Otto) has created a brand new acoustic duo called, fittingly enough, Otto. You can check out their new music here:

If you catch Otto perform, you can definitely expect to hear some Slang of Ages songs, don't worry. Thanks!
Slang of Ages, based out of Maine and Boston, consists of guitarist Matthew Drew and trumpet player Liz Sprague sharing vocal duties.
The duo met and began playing in their high school jazz band and continued their musical partnership, tightening their skills by performing in ska and classic rock bands. Matthew also gigged as a solo acoustic artist, and recorded a professional full-band pop EP in 2006.
Two solid musicians with training in various styles, all of which come together on their debut album, Sky Blind. Produced by Grammy-nominated Francisco Santos Jr, it boasts ten tightly-crafted tracks showing off their versatility, from folk-rock to jazz, hip hop, and gorgeous ballads.
Their live performances are a spectacle: Matthew on the acoustic, Liz with her trumpet, they harmonize and bring a passion and energy to the stage you rarely see anymore.
In the past year, Slang of Ages has brought a hundred people together to sing "I'm Yours" impromptu in Portsmouth, NH's Market Square, coaxed snobby Berklee students into dancing happily at Boston's Red Room, and were shown jamming out their first single "The Night Before" in a video segment on Maine's WCSH6.
Their "play anywhere" attitude has gotten them bookings all over New England and more is on the way, you won't forget this group.
